At Sky Gamerz, a gaming lounge inside Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), you can pass the time before your flight playing free retro video games while fueling up on delicious bites and sipping a craft beer or cocktail. Located in the N Concourse, the dark, cozy lounge includes a full food and drink menu and neon, vintage aesthetic. It also includes a traditional sports bar, with large TVs playing games and news.
Dropping someone off at the airport and want one last fun experience together? Apply for a SEA Visitor Pass and game together while they wait!
Highlights:
Approachable for All Ages and Skill Levels: The lounge is definitely not only for kids, or for hardcore gamers. It’s designed to appeal to a wide audience, with an emphasis on retro games that inspire nostalgia in people who grew up playing Atari, Ms. Pac-Man, or Donkey Kong. Founders H. Lamar Willis and Jonathan Ford wanted to bring the nostalgia of retro games to fliers—especially business travelers who frequent the airport.
Free Games: It bears repeating that you don’t have to pay to play! Trade in your ID for a cartridge.
Full Food and Drink Menu: Enjoy eclectic options like poke nachos, pulled pork slides, craft cocktails, and huge cookie-and-ice cream sandwiches.
Gaming Themed Merchandise: Shop for headphones, power cords and fun T-shirts.
The Vibe:
Retro, cool, and relaxing. You’ll totally forget you’re at the airport while absorbed in a game.
