Explore Seattle Southside highlights how hard-working everyday people make a huge difference in our community. We believe that we have incredible people who make a difference every day in our industry and that they should be recognized as Hospitality Heroes. Heroes from the past several years came from our Southside region’s hotels, The Museum of Flight, Sound Transit, and our local restaurants. One hero has been a powerhouse in the kitchen for over 32 years, and another helped hundreds of visitors navigate the confusing light rail system each day. Many of our heroes work behind the spotlight, and while they may not be visible, their impact is essential.

Heroes across various roles in the hospitality industry are celebrated for their hard work, selflessness, and contributions to their teams at an award ceremony. Award recipients receive a complimentary invitation to the event for themselves and one guest (+1), where they are publicly recognized.

Nominate the 2026 Class of Heroes

Dear Seattle Southside Hospitality Associates,

Explore Seattle Southside would like to recognize one of your team members who embodies the true spirit of hospitality with a Hospitality Heroes Award. Heroes will be celebrated at an award event in February and recognized in media promotions.

I hope you can help us celebrate your incredible staff by nominating one or more of your team members for recognition as one of our 2026 Hospitality Heroes.
